Job Description
The position is a key technical contributor in developing our Client's 10GBaseT Ethernet chip. The position's primary focus will be in modeling and simulation of communication and signal-processing algorithms/structures for low-power and high-speed transceiver applications. The position requires some background in digital signal processing and communications. It also requires very good knowledge and experience in C modeling and simulation of complex communication systems.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related with at least 5 years of experience.
* Candidate must also be expert in bit-exact, cycle-accurate Matlab/C/C++ modeling and simulation of complex digital communication systems.
* Experience and/or coursework in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and digital communication theory: adaptive filtering, equalization, echo-cancellation, channel coding, timing recovery, etc.
* Experience in firmware development, chip bring-up and debug in the lab, and familiarity with hardware implementation is highly desirable.
* Background in high-speed wire-line communication systems, particularly Gigabit Ethernet, is also highly desirable.
