Job Description
The candidate is a member of the senior management team and is directly responsible for the success of the location technology in the Consumer electronics industry globally, including the profitable operation of the consumer segment. The Sr. Director’s position is a multi-faceted one, and incorporates responsibility for ensuring that all the Consumer segment marketing plans support the business goals and objectives. Responsibilities include:
· Develop and implement a leadership strategy for the Consumer segment.
· Establish strategic alliances with key consumer electronics vendors.
· Develop and deliver the business plan targets for the regions.
· Be responsible for managing the implementation and rolling out of consumer market solutions worldwide.
· Strategic business planning (quarterly/annual) linked to AOP.
· Contributing to the development of new business opportunities and the management of existing customer relationships.
· Understand market requirements in consumer electronics industry and identify new market opportunities and product requirements.
As a key member of the Marketing and Business development team, you are required to have a BSEE or MSEE degree or equivalent. Experience in the consumer electronics industry a plus. An MBA is preferred. Ideal candidate will possess:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in the area of product development and/or product marketing in the consumer industry.
· Business development experience with consumer electronics suppliers is required.
· Management level relationships with key consumer electronics suppliers preferred.
· Project management skills and ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously.
· Candidate must have strong customer and sales orientation and ability to multi-task.
· Ability to work on both strategic level as well as independently managing details of day-to-day implementation from start to finish.
· You must be prepared for frequent travel.

· Outstanding leadership skills, including the ability to provide high-level direction to the business.
· Strong technical, business and commercial skills in areas of location and consumer electronics industry, including an understanding of the key success factors and the ecosystem.
· High-level of motivation, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
· Understanding of the characteristics of worldwide consumer electronics market, differences in cultures and market requirements.
