Job Description
Our Client is looking for a senior VP of Marketing/Business Development professional in our Santa Clara headquarters to drive cellular product development. This role will be responsible for technology marketing and business development activities across chipsets and platforms. You will be the key contributor in strategy creation and product definition for the integration of the technology into the targeted market segments, and the positioning of the product with partners and OEMs/ODMs to generate demand. You will also be responsible for interacting with development engineering, application engineering and operations to manage and develop these efforts. You must have an excellent understanding of cellular systems, software architectures and applications and be able to build business cases to justify strategic decisions. Possessing a strong background in the wireless industry and wireless technologies is a must along with excellent communication and customer skills.
This individual will be a key player in the executive leadership team at the company, and will be expected to make a significant contribution to the overall strategic direction of the company. This individual will play a key role in building a company with a clear and urgent market opportunity, which has the potential to revolutionize the cellular communications industry. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding leader and company builder. This position will be based in Silicon Valley, CA.
Engineering degree with a MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience required.
